The short one’s hair is finally getting long enough to put a ponytail holder in it to make pig tails. She is a drama girl who likes to pretend she is a rock star.  Gramma got her a rock and roll guitar for Christmas so she needed the accessories to complete the look. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss metal stars for the center and and neon yellow felt for the outer flower shape. I made two of these, one for each side of her pig tails.

It is back to school time and that means personalizing your goods. Boring is out and adding the handmade touch is in. For my personalization I choose to YUDU a hot pink blank laptop bag. I used the old school typewriter from the Heritage cartridge and printed it twice on the bag. I also used a charm label from the Heritage cartridge to screen print a little extra bling on a chain. To say I am loving the T-shirt yarn would be an understatement. I made a T-shirt yarn bracelet to go with the ring I made the other day. If you haven’t made T-Shirt yarn before purchase one of my T-shirt Yarn Kits click HERE to shop. Once you’ve made the yarn then it is really just a matter of selecting what color to work with and then deciding on how large you would like your topper flower to be in both height and width. After that you follow the How To provided Here: T-Shirt Yarn Bracelet Allow for a little drying time and then you are off and running with your wrist decoration. Enjoy! xoxo LL

My daughter was having a play date and wanted me to make her pink tiaras. One problem – her play date was a boy! So I suggested a pink tiara for her and a yellow wild thing crown for her playmate. For the Tiara I used my Gypsy to weld a design from the Tie The Knot Cartridge and a heart from the Create-A-Critter Cartridge and for the wild thing crown I used the Gypsy to weld the same crown from the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge over and over in a repeat pattern. I used my irock and some hot rocks on both crowns too! Both pre-schoolers played happily all afternoon. For a tutorial click here: How To make a Crown and TiaraHappy Crafting xoxo Lovely Lula

I found this cute and simple kids bathing suit at my local dollar store and instantly knew it was perfect for use with the YUDU. I used a flower from the Cake Basics Cartridge and cut it out in three different sizes on the Cricut. I then burned the designs to a screen and printed one color at a time on the YUDU.  Allowing each pass to dry completely before printing the next color.
