I made a cute little chicky Christmas Stocking for the Smallest One (my 1 year old) using the Cricut with the Create-A-Critter cartridge for the birdy and the Tie the Knot cartridge for the crown. I pared these with wool felt and a few fun embellishments to make a cute little stocking. When my oldest daughter, The Short One, was born four years ago I made one for her too so now it is a tradition. Oh what fun!

Today is the Pie Social downtown Phoenix. I made pie goodies that are for sale at MADE. The fun kicks off at 2 pm on Roosevelt and runs until 6 pm when the Parade of Arts starts, there should be some groovy floats there. Also going on today is the Local First Fall Festival at Duck and Decanter, I have note cards in the raffle over there. Fun stuff people – see you out and about today!
Pie Goods:
Fall is pie. It just is. We wait all summer to get at some and so why not wear your pie love on your chest next to your heart. Let the world know your true love by making a necklace. This crafty project is inspired by the pie social happening this weekend in Phoenix that is sponsored by Chow Bella.
