This 4th of July we took a clue from Pinterest and made painted fire works.
The first step is to gather used toilet paper rolls.
Next, cut one end like a fringe, don’t cut all the way to the other end – leave a good inch or two so you have something to hold on to.
Once the fringe is cut all the way around, flatten it out in preparation for using it like a brush to dip into paint.
Now, lay out several paper plates and pour different colors onto each plate. Dip the TP brushes into the colors, leaving one ‘tp brush’ assigned to each color so as not to mix them.
Stamp the ‘tp brush’ dipped in paint onto black construction paper. in fireworks patterns.
Now make as many as you have sheets of black construction paper.

It’s that time of year – January makes us contemplate the year ahead and all of the things we’d like to accomplish. I am not big on making resolutions but instead I focus on setting goals. I sat down recently and made goal lists for the coming year and when I painted them I thought to myself that I should share these as inspiration sheets. So here are short and long term goal sheets. Only write down three to five goals as that allows you to be more focused. Also, be specific with your goals because being to broad or too abstract allows you to get out of it.

Recently I found this dirty and dingy IKEA Greenhouse at a thrift store for a couple of bucks. I could see it had a lot of potential it just needs some TLC.
So I took it home, washed it up and covered most of it with solid gold and pale pink and gold striped Washi Tape. I covered the handles at the top with Sisal Rope.
Here are the results – I am beyond thrilled!
