In this Visual Art Journaling: Diamonds in the West workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn new techniques, both two and three-dimensional.  All participants will be given journaling prompts related to Scottsdale, 60 years and diamonds as ideas for creating each page. Samples for each of the prompts will be provided so participants can select which prompts they are most inspired to do in class. Participants can complete as many prompts as they are able during the class period and will receive information to do more, on their own, at home.

Visual Art Journaling with Cyndi Coon

This workshop will celebrate the everyday by designing and creating a visual art journal. Participants will receive writing and materials prompts to work with for each page. Participants will leave with a journal with 25 prompts and ideas to complete them all.

Cyndi Coon is co-creator of Laboratory5 which offers custom art commissions, paintings, ceramics, childrens books, stationary, textile pattern designs, temporary and permanent public art, teaching, workshops, training sessions, consulting services for artists, and project management for art and social organizations.
