Do you have a post Labor Day BBQ mess to clean up? Don’t throw those soda cans out. Cut them up and make thank you notes for your guests. Read all about it at my post over at Phoenix New Times Jackalope Ranch: A Thrifty Thank You
Here are some additional designs I created using a can of Vixen brand energy drink and Washi tape.
I have a fun new gig! I am now writing for the Phoenix New Times Jackalope Ranch Culture Blog. Check me out over there – I am the Thrifty Maker. Here is my How To for making a Campaign sign bird house piece called This Old (Campaign Sign) House.
Oh what fun I had making tee-shirt yarn this week. I also made many projects out of the yarn but I will save those for another post. Making tee-shirt yarn is such a great way to recycle dingy tees from your own collection or take advantage of dollar days at your local thrift store. I personally super deluxe love to thrift shop. On those days when I don’t have anything in particular in mind to hunt for I’ll often just pick up mens’ extra large tees and cut them into yarn when I return to my studio.
