Tiffany’s has a new leather and exotic skin line filled with bags, purses, journals, key chains and luggage tags. The leather goods are in brown, black, silver and Tiffany blue. Too pricey for you? Make a copy cat as I blogged about over at the Phoenix New Times Jackalope Ranch: Thrifty Version Of Tiffany’s Luggage Tag.

As I gear up for all of the fall and holiday baking I plan to do,  I decided I needed a new apron to celebrate the season. So I made an apron and used this Amy Butler Apron pattern as inspiration but varied it to suit my needs. Pulling out the flour, sugar and eggs right now . . . . .

A couple of weeks ago I offered a sewing workshop at MADE with my creative bud Sarah Spencer. We had a great time and sewed some great bags. Here are some shots from the workshop.

My love hate relationship with Anthropologie is really a love. I just say hate because most of the time I am in there I say “I wish I would have made that!” Sometimes I do purchase goodies that I can write off as business expenses and I turn them into crafts for sale. This is one such project. I purchased these fabulous tea towels there, brought them home and instantly put them to a functional use other then just hand wiping. I made them into pillow covers. This was a really simple sewing project and next to the tea towels themselves you just need some pillow forms, scrap fabric and some ribbon or ties. For the complete tutorial chick here: Tea Towel Pillows. Pick up some cute tea towels from anywhere and make these pillows. Happy Crafting xoxo Lovely Lula.
