I made a pumpkin ring out of orange tee-shirt yarn. A super simple little nugget that I will be wearing all month long. Maybe the reason I love Halloween and Fall so much is because orange is my favorite color and at this time of year I get to use it so freely.

With Fall fast approaching that means the holidays are right on our heels. During the Fall and into Winter I love hanging wreaths around the house. I prefer fun, funky non-traditional wreaths though. This week I created a wreath using vintage pillowcases cut into strips and tee-shirt yarn to wrap a wreath form that I picked up for a buck at my local dollar store. Then I used the same materials plus some hot pink rope on the Provo Craft Knifty Knitter (smallest size Flower Loom) to make flowers for the base of the wreath. As the tee-shirt yarn obsession continues, I have found another use for its fabulousness. I bought my smallest daughter a cool wooden orange fox pull toy at a thrift store but the pull was missing. I could have just tied a string to it and called it good but I decided to take three different colors of tee-shirt yarn, tie them together at the top, braid all three strands and then tie to the pull toy. So cute I just love it! If she could talk I think she would tell you she loves it too.
